The following is an excerpt from Srila Acharyadeva's anthology in the making, compiled from various lectures and writings of his, taken from the category "God," subcategory "Krishna":

*
There are many view points in Bhagavad-gītā, but there is also a conclusion which says that one should surrender unto Krishna. It is not our own imagination and we don’t compromise or delude what Krishna says. For those who don’t want to surrender to Krishna, there is an open invitation to remain in this material world forever.  There is no limit to material bodies, but if someone is concerned with liberation, he has to surrender to Krishna. It is not our idea. It is Krishna’s idea. If you think the Supreme Person should compromise, that is a denial of monotheism, which we do not accept.  There is an Absolute Truth, He is a person, and He wants that we surrender to Him even though we don’t have to. Krishna is the same God worshiped by other people, but in Vedic literature you will find the most specific references as far as His form, relationships, and pastimes are concerned. If anyone is interested in God, that desire can be fulfilled in Bhagavad-gītā and Srimad Bhāgavatam.
(from "The Bharaty Debate” 1973)

There was a geo-political situation in Vedic times just as we have it now. It wasn’t obvious to most people—at at the time of Mahābhārata—who Krishna was. They thought that God doesn’t interfere with the universe, just as people think today. Therefore, Kamsa’s ministers thought that Vishnu doesn’t leave the heart of a person to actively engage in human affairs. In the Old Testament we find the opposite that God is the author of history and regularly intervenes and participates in it.

*
The whole universe is a cosmic workout and Krishna is the personal trainer within our heart. The most annoying people in our life are the coolest exercise machines.
(Lord Nrsimhadeva’s Appearance Day, May 18, 2008, Columbus, Ohio)

*
“Krishna is not a jealous God, but gives us what we deserve based on objective principles.”

*
“Krishna is everything we desire: our natural friend, a loving parent, and the perfect person.”

*
“The whole purpose of creation is to give everybody the chance to be foolish and then figure out what they really want is Krishna.”
(lecture, “Levels of Consciousness” March 17, 2008)

*
What surrender means: Krishna finds the perfect situation for each of us. To surrender fully to Krishna means to have complete faith that He is giving us a plan for our life, which satisfies our human needs and desires so that we can go back to the spiritual world by finding appropriate ways to deal with our human nature. Krishna is the Supreme Life Coach. He is not a religious fanatic. He will give us a perfect program. We only need to believe that Krishna is good and intelligent. Krishna says that He is giving us what we need, ananyāś cintayanto mām. No one understands us better than Krishna.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
