Mahabharata The history of the Great India
Mahabharata is the ancient history of the world. Maha in Sanskrit means big and bharata refers to the great emperor Bharata, whose empire was known as Bharata varsa, and covered the entire world approximately five thousand years ago.
The center of this empire was the region known today as India. As such, all aspects of India's millennial (Vedic) culture are compiled in this important epic of the history of mankind.
The translation from Sanskrit has been realized by His Holiness Hridayananda Das Goswami - Acharyadeva.
The entire work consists of 100 thousand verses, of which the Adi-parva and Sabha-parva sections have already been edited into a first volume for the appreciation and satisfaction of those interested in the spiritual tradition of the Indian culture.
The work offers a lucid, erudite, bona-fide translation, the likes of which had not been realized before.
